Optimize your strategy and maximize your reach on YouTube
We’re thrilled to announce our integration with YouTube’s new creator API. As one of the first partners to integrate, CreatorIQ now gives you access to sharper first-party audience data and a more efficient campaign workflow.
If YouTube is part of your creator strategy, this integration will help you plan and execute with greater confidence, precision, and scale.
What does our integration with YouTube’s creator API unlock?
This integration is rolling out in phases, with each phase delivering meaningful new capabilities.
Phase 1, released November 13th, introduced first-party viewer insights for YouTube Partner Program creators in Discovery with data sharing enabled—no creator authentication required.
Phase 2, released January 22nd, introduces a streamlined workflow that simplifies paid partnership disclosure and, for creators whose contracts include paid media boosting, makes it easier for creators to grant permission for boosting.
Coming soon, you’ll also have access to additional metrics, including post-level viewership data that was previously only available through authentication. These insights will help you better evaluate performance and optimize future campaigns.
Why are viewer insights valuable?
Viewer insights help you understand the audience a creator is actually reaching, beyond their subscribers. Viewer data available through YouTube includes age, gender, location, as well as shopping and viewing interests.
Access to this data strengthens targeting and creator selection by helping you identify creators whose true viewership aligns with your program and campaign goals. Available directly in Discovery, YouTube viewer data enables earlier, deeper creator evaluation—saving time and effort for your team.

How does our integration streamline your campaign workflow?
The updated campaign workflow reduces friction around paid partnership disclosure and repurposing creator content for paid media.
Within campaign setup in CreatorIQ, you can easily add requirements for paid partnership disclosure and boosting permissions—for creators with paid media boosting in their contracts.
Creators receive a campaign code in their creator dashboard to identify your campaign when posting on YouTube.
Once a creator posts using your campaign code, you can boost the content through your ad account, extending the reach of their content and increasing its impact.
How does paid boosting on YouTube help drive ROI?
According to the State of Creator Marketing Report, 57 percent of enterprise brands repurpose creator content for paid social or digital advertising, and boosting creator posts is the leading ROI-driving activity across organizations.
With this integrated workflow in CreatorIQ, activating creator content within paid YouTube strategies is simpler and more scalable.
When should creators disclose a paid partnership?
Creators should disclose paid partnerships whenever they are financially compensated for posting. This supports compliance, maintains audience trust, and protects your brand’s reputation.
CreatorIQ’s campaign workflow allows creators to easily disclose partnerships, even if they choose not to grant boosting permissions.
YouTube continues to play a critical role in creator marketing strategies, and we’re focused on making it easier to plan, activate, and measure programs on the platform.
As new capabilities become available through the YouTube API, we’ll ensure they’re thoughtfully integrated into CreatorIQ. More data enhancements and improvements are coming soon—stay tuned!
